New rims to my Lexus rx 450h
Hi everyone, this is my second Lexus RX 450h (the new and latest 2019 version. I also have a Lexus RX from 2011. Believe that it’s generation 4 and 3 I own.
will the rims fit from my old Lexus to my new one? The spec on everything is the same, beside the ET number. On the new Lexus it’s ET 30 and the old is ET 35.
ET indicates the distance between the mounting surface and the geometric centre of the wheel (the symmetry axle), usually expressed in millimetres. When the ET value decreases, the alloy wheels will protrude further out.
in my case the 35 rims will go in.
Finding rims with ET 30 is quit limited. I asked my Lexus dealer about this and he could not answer me on the topic!
I’m not sure that the braking system is the same on 350 and 450h as it’s a hybrid with bigger brakes.
