Default Missing Tool under the back trunk?

got a flat tire yesterday and the AAA guy helped me to change the spare tire. He mentioned the there was missing pieces in the tool kit. I only have the load jack.

do you guys have another tool in the highlighted red session? If there is, what is that? Wonder if the dealer took it away since I got the car for fairly great deal

Page 667 of Owner's Manual Identifies the missing part as a "Towing Eyelet (If Equipped)". Don't think that most of the later model RX350's have the opening on the bumper to fit the "Towing Eylet" into, thus no "Towing" bracket inside the bumper on the frame. I guess your car does not have the small access door/plate on the bumper in which to insert the "Towing Eyelet" and therefore the tool was not included in your trunk.....

The 4th gen RX parts list for the U.S. shows a "dealership option" tool kit that includes one pair of pliers, two spanners (flat wrenches), one screwdriver, and one tool bag.

The standard tool kit for Europe includes everything that's in the optional U.S. market tool kit plus one towing eye.

A tire patch kit and an air compressor are also shown in the parts list for Europe but I can't tell if it is standard or optional ... for some reason "Croatia" is mentioned.

RX models built in Canada will not have the tow hook or a spot in the front bumper to attach a tow hook. Only RX models built in Japan will have tow hooks (to allow them to be tied down on the boat from Japan to NA).

The shipboard tie-downs go into the oval holes on the bottom of the "frame" rails
near the jacking points. They should now have the Dealer PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection)
rubber plugs installed.
