Do you know if the TSB for hesitation has just been performed?? If it has, make absolutely sure that the battery was disconnected for at least 30 minutes after the update. Not doing so can cause sport+ to disappear.

I am really interested in your source of the battery disconnect information. I could use it when talking to my dealer about my hesitation problem.
hey thanks for your reply, do you know if it’s an easy fix?
I remember that thread too - when the TSB for hesitation is done the final part of the process is to disconnect the battery, if that's not done the TSB doesn't take and some people commented that they lost Sports +. If you know what you're doing you could disconnect the battery yourself to see if Sport + returns - remember though that will reset everything in the car to factory, radio, seats, rear door, mirrors, anything adjustable will have to be adjusted back to how you have them. Alternatively you could pull the applicable fuses but I don't know for sure the ones needed to be pulled.

I haven't done it myself (my car not effected) but others said 10 minutes some say 30, go with the 30 to be sure. Disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal, safer that way.

When I had the TSB done I asked the service advisor to make sure that the battery is disconnected for 30 minutes. After picking up the car I noticed that sport+ was gone. I went back to the service department and asked the master tech who did the TSB if he had disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and he said no, it was only a few minutes, maybe 5. After he disconnected it for 30 minutes, all was back to normal. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes would have worked, but why not do 30.
I learned all this from a former member named FastFord and I give him all the credit. He said it sounds like something that would happen if the battery wasn't disconnected properly after the TSB and he was spot on. I thanked him greatly.

Yep needs the time for any capacitors in the system to discharge their voltage, that may not happen in a few minutes - great to see the Lexus "techs" are up to speed on electronics....NOT.
