It's only 30,000 miles, but the rotors were warped so I decided for new rotors and pads. I got raybestos coated rotors and akebono proact pads.

I actually had the same issue around 20-30k miles, my rotors were warped so bad the whole car would violently shake when lightly braking at 70 mph. No emergency stops and no long down hill descents to ride the brakes and get them hot. Car is just heavy and the quality control on parts now days just suck.

I know right?

Some here have better luck then the most of us. AND if they are just gonna warp every 20k-30k miles - it wouldn't make any sense to invest in dealer parts.

I will be looking into DFC or Powerstop in the future if mines does not last a least 50k miles.

Avoid issues where you have to slam on the brakes, and your brake pads will last much longer.
