My side mirrors don't seem to angle down like my 15 RX did. They seem to move upwards any one else seem to notice and can that be changed

 

I have the same problem. My side rear view doesnt angle down enough when in reverse.

 

Usually you'd have to select left or right mirror. At least this is how it works on 15. If no mirror is selected neither will angle down.

 

In the 2016 RX as long as one of the L/R mirror buttons are lit the mirrors will tilt down when reversing. Also new for this year is you can adjust them to tilt down as far as you want and the settings will be memorized just like the memory seats. Cool feature!

 

In addition to the details 16RX350 noted above, if you change the normal mirror position, it will also affect the reverse position. So set the normal positions first and then adjust the reverse positions. And be sure to save your settings.

 

Put the transmission in park and set the normal position, then shift to reverse and set the backup position, then save.

 

There are instructions in your book on how to make them go downward. I had the same problem and fixed the settings but cannot remember how I did it but its in the book.
