I am on the Lexus site building the RX. I noticed if I clicked on "Black NuLuxe with Striated Black trim" or "Black semi-aniline leather with Gray Sapele Wood and Aluminum trim (Luxury Package)", they look exactly the same. So which trim is this? I like this trim combo but don't need the Luxury package.
I believe the picture is showing the Luxury trim interior. The steering wheel looks like the gray Sapele wood that I have in my Luxury. The Yamaha produced aluminum/sapele wood panel is also shown near the two cup holders. The seats therefore should be the black semi-aniline leather, afaik.

that is the Yamaha wood panel. only in the luxury package which is like $60k. I like the luxury package but don't like the wheels.
Haha I am so with you. The wheels are so ugly on that package. Honestly, whoever designed the 20" wheels for all of the RXs should be slapped. None of them are that great.

I respectfully disagree. I love the 20" wheels on my Luxury. I guess it's a matter of personal preference. My wife agrees with you though roblim, she doesn't like the wheels.

I am just jealous.. I really like the semi-aniline leather and the birds eye view display. I was able to get the Mark Levinson, but i would have liked those other features as well. When i trade-in my RX, I'm getting Lux package on my next one regardless of what the wheels look like in 3-4 years.
Even in SoCal, there aren't that many Luxury packaged vehicles on the lots. The Premium package is the best seller. Luxury is so far up the sitcker price that i think it's a rare sale.
I'm with Macs4RX - I think the wheels on the luxury package are terrific. I guess that's why Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors, because everybody likes different ones!
