Unfortunately I don't think you have the Apple CarPlay from BeatSonic. They just do the mirror system as far as I know now.
I understand there is just iPhone mirroring, I erroneously called it CarPlay.
still, I would like to see a demo and know down side besides no Aux function.
Lexus supports RGB without opening any parts through AUX cable. You can use 4 pole 3.5mm AUX adapter (Goes where AUX port is in dashboard) to input RGB to Nav. Now you can use HDMI converter to convert RGB to HDMI and connect your Apple device. By this setup you will be able to watch apple/android on the screen but you will not be able to use in motion due to speed sensor.
You will need:
1. 3.5mm AUX to RGB cable - $5
2. RGB to HDMI converter - $15-30
3. HDMI to ios/android cable - iOS $50
4. Charger cable for phone & for HDMI box if needed
You can also use 2A charger to charge the device. You can buy 3rd party or DIY DVD bypass in motion fix to enable during motion. I hope this helps anyone who wants to make use of this setup.

I just ordered all the parts, I think I need, to mirror my IphoneXR in my Lexus RX350 2016.
The Beat-Sonic Lexus Navigation and Video Bypass (NDS6223EP) is already installed.
I will use the auxiliary input as suggested earlier on in this post.
We shall see......

I just installed the new iphone mirroring for the XS in my car. well I knew it was bad resolution, but I didn't know it was unreadable. Pretty much this is only good for landscape videos or maps. Unfortunately apple music and spotify do not have landscape! Anything else and I guess you would be using the phone anyway to navigate. Pretty expensive for a one trick screen mirror but oh well.

so it's just blurry from low resolution, or won't landscape ??
i still need to install mine, using a screen beam module for wireless to my android. (none of the system has been installed yet)

tried a similar setup, had similar results. i think the rca cable plug might be different
(still have to motivate to install my beatsonic with screen beam , been almost a year in the garage cabinet )
Be careful with that HDMI to RCA converter, my original from Beatsonic doesn’t work for iPhones beyond X.
a newer converter is now being employed by them to rectify the situation, so, if you buy aftermarket, it may not
work with any iPhones beyond X. Some say not for Mobil phones, in ads.

try contacting Sam at Beatsonic if you already had the other adapter installed ask why not working.
by the way, Now all IPhones work with the setup, no need to change out the HDMI to RCA adapter, where previously my XS would not, only my X did.
could have been an IOS update that fixed the problem.

Yes, we know. Some of us who installed Beatsonic, when it was the only way to mirror, are not ready to spend an additional
amount of $ and time to redo, even though it appears to be a superior product.
the Beatsonic product is OK for my purposes, right now.
