Default 2016 RX Loaner

Well, I'm having my 90k mile service done on my GX and I requested a 2016 RX as my loaner from the Lexus dealership. The RX they gave me is fully loaded, LKA, Radar Cruise, everything. I must say, I am SUPER impressed. I was thinking I would just get an other GX, but having driven this loaner (I took a little road trip in it as well), I am thinking I may do an RX instead. It is so sweet!

I have had several loaner Rx units and even owned a RX350 and RX450h but none are near as nice at the 2016 4RX in my opinion.

I had a 2014 GX460 and traded it for a 2016 RX350. Although there were some things that I miss from my GX, I don't regret the trade. Along with the better gas mileage, better visibility looking out the windshield, better handling and the fact my wife likes to drive it too, I am very happy with my RX. If you had not made your decision yet, I wish you best.

Oh and by the way, my GX had an issue with leaning. That is definitely one thing I don't miss.

No doubt the GX has a lean to it.

Did you find out the cause of that weird "lean"?

Owner of both 15 GX and 16 RX and I love the GX a lot more. Maybe I'm used to the old school Lexus.

GX has 2010 technology. 2016 RX has the latest/greatest.

Also, GX is a truck. You cannot compare these two vehicles.

I remember getting up in the morning and going out to the garage and my LX470's rear end was way up in the air! It was kinda obscene. The dealer said a control switch went bad and they replaced it and it was good after that.

I believe it had to do with the electronic suspension. They changed the KDSS suspension to a previous model year. Though it was a very temporary fix, the lean came back.

If my GX did not have a lean, I would have kept it.

Your RX is sweet, brxsilva! I'm a ways away from getting my next car, seems as I just had the 90K service done, but I like hearing from someone who's had both. I'm still torn, though. Once I get closer, though, I'll really have to think about it.
