Seems to me it either works or it just doesn't. My ES works every time. My wife's 2017 RX almost never and I don't even try anymore.

I can confirm to you that after the Enform subscription ends, that the remote start via key fob still works. I can remote start via key fob on my 2019 ES350 as well as my 2019 RX450hL -- both of which no longer have active subscriptions. I confirm this every morning, so it's not a fluke.

The complimentary subscription for my ES350 ended September 2019, the RX450hL subscription ended 5 months ago in June 2020. Both can still be remote started via key fob today. Just used it on the ES earlier today in fact.

My warranty is not up until 2023.....warranty claim?
Also,I thought I read it somewhere else that you can have the Lexus dealership turn on the remote start via the fob for $$$. Of course the remote via phone will not function.
