I actually have a lawyer interested in looking into this issue if you have taken it in for the same issue more than two times and they have attempted to fix it. Let's see how it goes if Lexus would take it back.

I've taken mine back more than 4 times, so I'm definitely interested in knowing what happens.

I thought it was my imagination when I picked up a 2017 CPO RX on January 2, 2020. The vehicle was not as smooth as the other Lexuses I had driven. I still have my 2001 RX 300 and my wife is on her second ES 350 (2011 model). The 19-year car drives very well. The CPO I bought had 39,000 miles and we drove around a bit, about 1,000 miles before we came home to Atlanta. On the way back, I felt the hesitation that bothered me tremendously. I had gassed up three times at Shell. Since we came back home, I did not drive the car but this morning I moved it on the driveway and in park I heard a slight drone. In addition, when the audio puts out treble and bass, the speaker directly behind the driver vibrates.
My question: what are my remedies?

2011 Lexus ES 350 Grey with black interior
2007 Toyota Corolla Grey with beige interior
2017 Lexus RX350 Silver with black interior

You answered your own question when you said "I picked up a 2017 CPO RX on January 2, 2020".

For those in Canada is the dealer applying L-SB-0032-19_Rev for you?

I contacted my local dealer in the Toronto area and he told me L-SB-0032-19_Rev is for US vehicles only. I'm dropping off my car later this week so they can "hook it up to the computer to see if anything can be applied".

I hope they know what they are doing - the VIN is the key to which TSBs are available, they can input the VIN and it tells them which TSB applies, if any.

Forgive me for not reading this entire thread incase this has already been answered.
Is the drone noise around 1500RPM reproducible in park/neutral or must the RX be moving? I'm thinking about purchasing a used 2016/2017 and I want to properly test for this issue during the test drive.

I don't have the drone but I've read on here if you put it in Drive, foot on brake and give throttle to 1,500 you should hear/feel the noise/vibrations.

Also if you drive the car try going up hill slowly and keep it around that 1,500 - the idea is to put the engine under load, the noise/vibrations would be more prominent then.

If you can't hear it in eco mode, you don't have it.

Might work but not real handy location. Driving this 2020 RX a bit more and I can see where some (Toyota and Lexus owners) have complained about the 8 speed transmission. At lower speed in the Normal setting it has some unusual responses at lower speeds. Might decide to leave it in Eco more often where it doesn’t seem to be as prevalent.

Take it to your dealer and ask for the TSB to solve that, seems people on here think it works well.

That include 2020 models? If so, is there a TSB reference number?

Thanks.

2020s are not included in the new TSB, but you might be able to talk the dealer into doing it. TSB L-SB-0032-19. Works great.
