Why? Not becasue I could not do it but because that color temp makes humans look sickly in the mirror.
Hi Bootman
Do you know what the color temp for these bulbs is? Also, I think the Luxury Pkg comes with all LED lights. I didn't see any links/discussion on those bulbs, any idea what is the color temp for the Lexus original LEDs.

I have the Lux package in mine and all those in this thread were NOT LED.
No clue for the temp but the yellowish color suggests somewhere around 3K or lower.

Thanks bootman. I presume you mean the Lexus factory installed bulbs are around 3000K.
The blue tint in the Amazon listings suggest JDM/Jteck/Philips are around 6000K.

Correct and to be clear the factory one in the corgo area were not LEDs but the ones up front in the doors were. (or at least the color suggested they were. (strange I know)
I changed them all in the cargo bay to 6K LEDs except the visor ones becasue my wife would complain about those when using the mirror.
And we all know the saying. A happy wife .......

I am not too keen on a blue vanity lights either. Can you confirm that the LEDs you changed in the cargo area (3?) are:
Quick question. I just replaced my cargo area lights with LEDs from VLEDS, now the switch on/off position is switched. Depressed down used to be light on, but now it is off. Any ideas?

Are you 100% sure you but it back the right way and didn't invert the housing?
Just installed these and they work great... they also fit inside the cargo area light housing... no need to remove anything.
Also they come in packs of 2! Not sure how i missed that but its not obvious on the mobile site. I guess i have spares now because i bought 5 packs of them thinking they were singles.
