This seems hard to believe. This fsport must have no options. No ML, No Panorama roof, not hud, no safety system aka led head lights. Can you confirm msrp on this vehichle. I'm building one and its 59k and some change. Getting 1500 off. Not sure if I can get any more when it comes in around March.

Read OP, standard features only. So its a fair price. Dont know what tax rate Hawaii has so. But eyeballing it seems good

We're handcuffed to Servco Toyota/Lexus which is the only dealer in Hawaii.

The MSRP was actually $51,660 F-Sport standard features with optional features which include: moonroof tilt/slide, BSM w/RCTA, Touch Free Rear Door, Park Assist, Wheel Locks, lol and 20" rims.

The RX was for the wife she didn't want any other upgrades, PHEW!, and was happy with the standard features and whatever was on the car. There was a non F Sport with the exact same upgrades minus the 20"rims for $1,000 less. That pretty much was the deal breaker and why we got the F-Sport.

Hope this clears everything up

Whoa, $51,800 out the door? Our dealer on Maui said it was company policy not to discount any of the 2016 RX models until around June. I tried to negotiate but ended up walking away. They had a white F-Sport 2WD for $51,600 sticker, wouldn't budge. Are you on Oahu?

P.s. We owned a 2009 RX before it was in an accident a month ago, he knew we were previous Lexus customers.

I knew that

But, they did end until discounting it for you. Interesting, sounds like the Maui dealership is going rogue.

Anybody has any luck with good prices on custom built 2016 RX's not on the lot with the dealers in DFW area? I have a feeling it maybe full MSRP; but want to check with yal before I start talking to them... Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE=EXP_Cougar;9306620]On the 2008 RX 400h we had issues with the radio, driver side mirror, video feed from backup camera... To name a few. And that vehicle was made in Japan.

No real issues on my 2007 GS 350 though.

However, that was enough for me to negotiate down the extended warranty and go for it.[/QUOTE

Which dealer did you use? I live in the area so I'm wondering which one offers the best deals.

I went with Sterling McCall Lexus whereas before I had purchased my last 2 from Westside. I can introduce you to the internet sales rep I used. I would recommend you getting quotes from at least 2 dealers to give you leverage.

yep that was me. Yes the end of the year is a factor for the dealer to make sales quota (similar to the end of month and end of quarter). I also attribute my "great price" by purchasing a base model from existing inventory. Given the base model is not as popular as the loaded ones, they tend to sit around longer, yet larger dealers must keep a stock of base models in order to advertise their low lease specials. Put it all together and these poor base models sit around in inventory until a guy like me comes along and finds a dealer that is motivated to move an "unpopular" unit in order to make quota. QED

This of course assumes you will happy in a base model, and really does not apply for higher end models like the F-sport or the hybrid. Dealers know those are in high demand / low inventory and thus did not need to discount. Put another way, higher end customers help subsidize the deals for the bottom feeders, especially for a new generation model.

Thanks I may take you up on that. I've only delt with Lexus of Clear Lake. We've used the same guy for 15 years. They are insisting there wont be any discounts until summer but we want to check with the other dealers just to make sure.

Did you try park place grapevine? They have always given me a good deal. Not sure if you are open to ordering from houston. For some reason Houston Lexus and Benz dealers offer lot more discounts.
