Anyone ever get a B2416 ride height control code??
The code creates an AFS headlight malfunction which is annoying for a couple reasons:
* The warning is persistent on the driver's information center
* It points the headlights DOWN, instead of level, which drastically reduces vision at night
Nothing obvious is wrong:
* Linkage is NOT broken
* Both sides of the electrical connector looked fine - no corrosion or broken wires
The sensor is exposed to the elements so it certainly could have just have failed ........... but, trying to see if someone else has had this code and what they did to fix it - even if that means replacing the sensor.

EDIT 2/7/2026:
I replaced the ride height sensor yesterday and everything works as expected so far. A local Lexus dealer wanted $731 for the sensor, but I ended up buying an AISIN brand sensor (#HST056) from rockauto for $198. AISIN is an OEM supplier and time will tell how long it lasts. The sensor was easy to access by removing the right rear wheel:
* I did not replace the small bracket - circled in red - I just kept the OEM one in place
* I did not use the new electrical harness - I just used the OEM one. I cut the new harness off the sensor and used new cable ties to attach the original wiring harness to the new sensor.
* The (2) nuts (and exposed threads on the studs) on the original sensor bracket were rusted. I cleaned them with a wire brush, sprayed them with Kroil, let it sit for 15 minutes, and used a 1/2-inch drive 10mm impact socket with a ratchet and went slow. Both nuts came off without issue.
