Body Side Molding
We are purchasing a 2022 Lexus RX350 and want to get body side molding for it.
I'm debating having the dealer paint & install the factory parts, as they now come primed, unless someone has a set in Atomic Silver (color code 1J7).
Alternatively purchasing an after market painted set from http://www.sportwing.com.
Does anyone have a closeup photo of the factory parts, especially the ends and the width (part# PT938-48141-AA & AB)?
The same parts fit the 2016-22 350s.
Thanks in advance.

I checked all three dealers, they said the Parts Locator did not take them off.
I did find out that the official part number for the complete body side molding set, with color code, is PT9384814130 .
If anyone has this set please let me know as it would save me from getting a set painted.
Thanks.

I just went through this process. Found a drivers side in the correct color but no passenger side. Ordered primed passenger side and had a buddy paint it with factory color. I installed both sides, easy and looks "factory". Do not go aftermarket.

I special ordered my 2021 RX with factory installed door guards. The car color is Moonbeam Beige Metallic and the side guards are a perfect match. Here are some pictures. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. Not ghosting you just been traveling and now my wife has the RX out of town. Hope the posted pictures by @NotAFiat were helpful. I mounted mine by myself. I admit I don't have the most steady hand but a measuring tape, yardstick and some painters tape will make you a pro. I mounted mine with a slight downturn, i.e., the front was maybe 1.5 inches lower than the back. Seemed to match the sculpting on the doors. The good news is one side does not have to perfectly match the other as you will never see them together. Study the provided pics particularly for how close or not to get the 2 pieces near each other and still have clearance to open the doors. Fortunately for me, there were 2 door dings that the strips covered perfectly, saving me from paying for PDR.
