Noise From Trunk Area 2022
So I purchased a 2022 RX350 in January of 2022 new. There has been a noise coming from the trunk area that has been driving us insane. Through a lot of investigation, I think I have it narrowed down to the piece of styrofoam inside the rear number cover. I had my wife sit inside the car while I moved it from under the car and she confirms that this is the culprit. My question is, will warranty cover these types of things. This is supposed to be a luxury car, but rattles and noises are so annoying.

I had the same issue in an older RX350 4th gen. Yes that was the issue, but a little worse. The aluminum bumper in behind the fascia and behind the Styrofoam was missing two bolts. I was working at the dealer at the time and the mechanic came and got me to show where the noise was coming from. Once Lexus gets into the bumper the fix is easy. Just wondering how two bolts could just not be installed?
Good luck on the fix.

Did you mean the rear "bumper" cover (bumper fascia)? The warranty should cover it but they can always use the excuse "normal wear and tear" in which case you might be out of luck. I would first check to see if there is a Technical Service Bulletin covering this condition, then go to the dealer and talk to the service department.
