Default Clicking noise when braking on reverse

Hello...I have 2021 rx fsport
whenever i back out of my garage in the morning and when i first apply the brakes, i hear a clicking sound from the front . I think its coming from the brakes.

Is this normal? anyone else have the same issue?

Does it happen only when first backing out of your garage, but not when braking in reverse later? If so, it is very likely surface rust that accumulates on the rotors overnight. It is very common unless you live in a very dry climate. It's also harmless.

It sometimes happens couple of times later too. I went to the dealer and they said its the brake pad shift.

Yep, the noise is probably brake pads slightly shifting in the calipers. No problem.

No big deal, just annoying. It's the caliper pins that need some silicone brake grease.

Default 21 Rx F sport Brake clicking noise

Hello,

i am getting this strange clicking noise from the front right when braking. Also happens after braking when car is stationary and brake pedal is pressed all the way in.

Dealer simply said it needs to be more cosistent to fix it. But it happens all the time.

anyone else had similar noise?

Loose fitting brake pads is a common cause. Do you still have all the original brake components?

If it happens "all the time", ask the dealer how much more consistent he needs it to be?
