Default Can Get Rid of Maintenance Required Message

2015 RX 350: Seeing "Maintenance Required" message on dash, but none of the maintenance items on the "Maintenance" screen of the onboard computer are due. Have tried a few procedures I found on the internet such as press odometer button while starting car and continue to hold until message goes away, but nothing has worked. (90% that I found were about the "Maintenance Required Light", but I don't have a light - I have a message.

Anybody know where else to look to see if there really is maintenance required?

Anybody know how to get rid of the message?

Thanks

1- Change to trip meter A (by pressing the ODO/TRIP button), then turn power off.
2- While pressing the ODO/TRIP button, turn the power switch to on mode. Keep the ODO/TRIP button pressed for about five seconds.
3- Reset is complete when 000000 in the trip meter flashes once and the message in the multi-information display disappears.

Be sure to leave your foot OFF the brake pedal during this entire reset process.

How many miles? The message shows up every 5000 miles. You could also go to nav screen under maintenance section and hit reset maintenance data or something like that. Procedure is in the manual.

This procedure got rid of the message.

What's interesting is Toyota/Lexus designed the Navigation and the Instrument Cluster to be independent from each other, I'm guessing for simplicity during assembly of various options. As a result, the notification on the dash cannot be reset in the navigation system and vice versa. Even on the 2016+ models, you have to jump through the settings menu of the instrument cluster to reset the 10,000 mile service reminder. So you can end up having two separate notifications, one on the dash and one on the Nav.

Bringing up this slightly old thread... I currently have a "Maintenance Required Soon" message on our '13, but none of the maintenance items in the nav system are near due. Is it true this message pops up every 5000 miles, whether anything is actually required, or not? In 9 years of ownership, I'd not seen this before.

The owners manual for my wife's 2015 RX350 states that the "Maintenance Required" message shows up on the dash at 5,000-mile intervals. That has indeed been the case for her vehicle ever since we acquired it in late October 2018 at 32,750 miles. It is now approaching 74,500 miles. I do the appropriate maintenance myself every 5,000 miles and reset the system accordingly. Her RX does not have the nav system.
