This week we noticed that we had a leak from a blocked sunroof drain on the driver's side. We unclogged that and when we drove it about 3 hrs later, the check engine light was on and so was the slip indicator light (both constant, not flashing). I also noticed that the eco mode was off. It pulled the code P0607 code.
My assumption is that the water leak inside caused a short?
Absolutely! Give it a week to dry out. To speed things up you can use a hairdryer but try not to cook the stuff under the dash!
P0607 is the standard OBD-II trouble code for an issue with the engine control module (ECM).
You should also check the other front sunroof drain for future clogs. I use weed wacker line pushed through the tube to clear them. Approach it from both above and below.

Thank your for the response. It was going in to the shop this week for some basic maintenance so I'll have them double check everything and check my de-clogging of the sunroof. I also used the weed whacker line, but I didn't see exactly where it comes out at the bottom. I did several tests yesterday after de-clogging and no leaks and it was draining out of the bottom.

Did you end up needing to replace any O2 sensors? Or did drying it out work?
Same issues down here in Florida after a storm this past weekend.
Periodically clear those sunroof drain lines. I try to remember to do it every 12 to 18 months. Run some weed-wacker line or twisted-pair small-diameter metal cables down them from the drain hole openings in the sunroof assembly. Time well spent.
Working on diagnosing an issue on my sister's 2012 RX350, all wheel drive, approx 60k miles.
It has been unusually wet and cold here in Phoenix. Recently during rain, the ABS light would come on. However ABS still functioned as normal. This morning, while not raining, it was quite cold and damp. On her way to work, as my sister put it; "the dash light up like a Christmas tree" and power steering went out.
My sister nursed the car to my house and took my GX460 to work. I get into her RX350, and pull all codes. There are no historic codes. Current codes are P0607 and P0138. It took 4 attempts to start the car and get it into my driveway. No power steering at all. All lights illuminated in the dash and a message to service oil immediately. Oil was changed on Dec 26. I checked the oil and all is good.
Reading this forum, I see suggestions to replace the battery, check for moisture/clogged sunroof drains. The battery is 6 months old and has been problem free so far. I haven't looked at sunroof drains yet, but I inspected the passenger cabin and there is no moisture.
Armchair mechanics: Am I correct in guessing the ECM is shot? I am a little perplexed as I hadn't seen another post that mentioned the loss of power steering. And I am not sure which control module on the RX controls the EPAS.
First check your battery has the proper voltage before trying to replace the ECM. Just because it is 6 months old does not mean it cannot fail. Do not assume it is okay and get it checked. At least it is under warranty.
Check both battery voltage with the car off and if it is charging with the car running.
