That's why that feature can be disabled with a push of a button. I keep it turned off in my car because I don't like it either.

I think tilt mirrors are very useful, had them on my ES350, on the 450h, they don't tilt far enough.
Will see tomorrow whether I can teach them to tilt farther. TIA if it works!
