2015 RX 350 Towing package question
One of the used cars I'm looking at is a Certified Used 2015 RX 350 that has the factory towing package. I was not really planning to use it for towing but it has the other options I wanted. Does anyone know if the springs and suspension are different with the tow package. I just don't want to get a car that rides harsher than the standard model. Thanks.

IIRC... the Towing Package, if complete, includes an engine oil cooler, extra transmission cooler, hitch receiver, and an electronic towing module for trailer lights to the receiver area (the module is installed in the rear right side panel behind the brake lights, accessed from inside the rear hatch area). There are no changes to the springs or shocks for the Towing Package.

Pete is correct except the hitch receiver is an additional $$$ from the dealer and not part of the factory tow package. I think the alternator may also be a bit more powerful. On mine the hitch wiring harness access plug was on the driver side rear and easily found when the hitch was installed.
