does the 2011 Lexus RX350 have a sunglass holder? The manual says it does but when I push the area where it should be, it does not open.

 

Early 2010 RX's (those built before Aug 2009) did not have the telematics system "Safety Connect".
When the SC system was introduced the electronics and "SOS" push button went up where the holder was.
Every 2011 RX for the US market had SC but many features listed in the Owner's Manual are available
regionally. No doubt the holder is on cars in say Australia and Europe but not here. Does your RX still
have the shallow tray that sits on the center console removable deep basket? Specs can sit on that.

 

Was wondering about the sun glass holder...I guess the need for critical space trumped the glass holder...

Would be nice to be able to take out the useless "Safety Connect" stuff, and replace it with a much more useful sunglass holder, no???
