Default Transmission Filter Change Suggested?

I have a 2010 Lexus RX350 with about 100k miles. I was wondering if I should do a transmission filter change/fill. I've read that this car has a sealed transmission with lifetime fluid and doing a change is not necessary. I've also read that doing a flush can mess the transmission up. What do you guys recommend/what have you guys experienced?

yes if you don't have the trans dip stick, then its considered sealed. at that millage i would do a filter change along with the fluid.

I have both a 2006 SC and a 2015 Rx with the sealed transmission. It has always been my understanding that these transmissions do not have filters that can be replaced.

YankinDeez this has been covered many times before. See this link for instance https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...64994-atf.html

I would at least do a couple drain and fills. To do a fluid exchange is best done by a dealer either Lexus or Toyota as it is complicated to set the fluid level. I would not mess with the filter as it is just a big screen to catch large chunks and you have to raise the engine a bit to get the pan off. It is a pain and not worth it. Those internal filters never clog at 100,000. Good luck whatever you decide to do. Try other searches for more data.
