Default Can Nav be added aftermarket

I have a 2015 RX-350. No navigation included. Can I add it and what would be the cost?

Depends on what you are looking to do. OEM would cost more than aftermarket.
You can get a 2 DIN radio with backup camera for under 200 and DIY. Or go with OEM and have Lexus do the install for over a grand. BTW, the OEM headunit would likely be over 600 to start with.

There are some aftermarket navs for the IS. You probably get more specific info on the RX forums.

The IS units runs about $500 if you buy directly from Chinese manufacturers on aliexpress. Some nav units have the airbag light issue on the IS (causes an airbag error light) but might or might not be an issue for the RX.

Short answer - NO. HVAC controls are routed through the Audio/Nav system, making it virtually impossible to upgrade.
To my knowledge, there's no aftermarket CANBUS device to translate HVAC functionality to a generic unit.

I put little faith into Chinese Android units claiming to be direct replacements.

All of the above is intentional so that you would be motivated to upgrade your vehicle rather than its components.
No such limitation is put onto Toyota counterparts.

You'd be far better off with phone navigation or a windshield mount device. Maybe a nice integration for the latter.
Beatsonic has a video input integration unit.

It converts digital video signal (from phone) to the low quality analog, for which there's an input in the non-navigation units(?).

I am about to but 2015 RX 350, but does not have a navigation. Is there a after market Navigation available for it and how much does it cost? Is it work putting in the after market navigation?

OEM Navigation is rather horrible. Not a big loss not having it.
However, replacing OEM unit is a loosing proposition. Lexus intentionally made it virtually impossible to do so.
Either phone or a handheld/windshield mount would be the best alternatives.
Best part - you will get to keep your sanity when you do not have to operate the OEM unit.

+1 on the prior GPS sentiment. The OEM GPS is junk. An inexpensive Garmin unit is vastly superior if you need a dedicated device, otherwise get a decent phone mount and output the audio to the stereo with Bluetooth.

WAZE app+ large phone. My wife has RX350 with nav and it sucks. My Galaxy Note 4 screen is about 80% of the OEM nav display and actually shows more as it does not have all the goof things on it. Plus, it is continuously updated via app users.
So why bother with factory nav?

The nice thing about the 3rd generation is the screen is recessed so you can put a Garmin or other device right in front of the screen with a suction cup mount when you need the NAV.

Sigh, another thread where the OP starts their first one and never comes back.

If it wasn't for the dangling power cord I would agree with you. We really miss the Garmin and a new one is less than the price of a map update from Lexus.

It could be we never gave the answer to the question being asked.
I do think the advices offered have merit, but the OP may have punted on those before reaching out.
