Default 2015 RX Tail Lights?

Ok, the car has been pretty decent - I remain impressed - though was a bit uncomfortable last night - 2 hour rush hour stop and go, I don't do well when things are not moving.
Anyway, one of the Rxs I had demo'ed had the mirrors that automatically moved down when in reverse. The ones on my RX did no, so I looked around here and set that up - seemed to go well. Next thing I know (not sure if the mirror thing caused it or just a coincidence), the passenger side tailout - out - the one on the body of the car, not the one on the hatch door. It's gone - no power.

Details - it's a used 2015 with 9k miles on it.

Anyone have any electrical issues with their 2015? Or the mirrors? On the mirror front, I have tried several more times to set/reset them to move down for parking - in reverse, and now they move very VERY slightly down - it's not helpful (the amount they move), and it's not where I set it - I can't help but assume the issues while seemingly unrelated may be related.

So, off to my local Lexus dealer - both of these issues should be under factory warranty correct?

Thanks!

You are covered by the warranty.

Thanks - I expected as much, the dealership (infiniti) did ask if I could bring it to them, and they do have a Lexus dealer under their umbrella, so I would certainly consider that (it could be less of a hassle). Any idea if it's a simple bulb or a component? I think it's a whole component.

Consulted the manual, looks like I can swap the bulb out myself. Of course it's tough to figure out exactly what bulb(s) I need. The manual does not seem to give it a number, just 5 E which I assume means 5 watt and E would be the shape/style of the base? Ugh, I may bring to dealer just to have it done and get an oil change and tire rotation since I have no idea when either of those things were last done.

Warranty item for a bulb - I feel like a dope.

I bet it is just a burned out bulb. All the car companies are supplied by the same few bulb manufacturers. Any bulb can fail at any time.

I bet they changed the oil before they put it on their lot for sale. Most reputable places do.

There's supposed to be a warning light that comes on when a brake bulb goes out. It only happened once to me on the 330. But yours sounds like the blinker. Any Lexus dealer will take care of it under warranty. Or you can try to do it yourself. Pop off the the little square on the inside between the the wheel wheel and tailgate opening using a flat head screwdriver. The sides of the cover have slightly curved tabs. It's a tight fit so you may just want to leave it to the dealer. I dropped the bulb in there and couldn't fish it out. The dealer had to to remove the whole light. Note to self, put tape on fingers sticky side up when changing bulbs in tight places.

As far as the side view mirrors, any chance you have snow or ice stuck in there? It can stop them from working properly. Best thing to do is turn it off by deselecting L and R on the driver side door in the interim or until it warms up. I doubt the two problems are related.

Good luck and keep us posted.

As it turns out, they did change the oil and rotate the tires, but the sticker in the window was from the previous oil change and that threw me off, they had the records in the system, so no need for those things. Yes, they changed a simple bulb - and I would have done it myself once I realized what it was, but I was assuming I was still getting the oil done.

As it turns out I get a car wash whenever I go in, so that helped with all the road crap from the past weekends snow still on a lot of the car.
