Default Low tire pressure light won't come off

My light won't come off even after putting air in my tires. I need to go to work soon and will need to check the spare tire pressure to see if that's the problem.

My question is, do I need to get my spare tire out of the trunk or can I just pump it while it's in it.

I'm driving rx350 2010
Thank you

The spare tire doesn't have a sensor. You need to drive it a few miles.

The spare doesn't have a sensor, most probably one of your tires is low, or you have a slow leak or leaky valve.

Thank you guys. I read on other forums that the spare has a sensor. That's why I thought that's what it was.

The full spare was dropped on the 3rd gen RX. So no sensor anymore. Maybe you were looking at the 2RX forum. dat dude brings up a good point. There might be a slow leak from the valve or something in the tire. Hopefully it was just the tire pressure being off enough to trigger TPMS.

Default ..............

Check for a screw, slash, valve leak, bent or cracked wheel etc...and of course tire pressure on all 4 tires.

Default This may be your answer.

TPMS in the tire send a signal to the master computer. Each TPMS runs on a battery. That battery eventually dies. I believe the battery only last for between 5 to 10 years. Some as low as two years....so that may be the problem.
I have a 2010 450h which displays which tire is low but I believe the 350 just has the low tire display.
Note: I have dedicated winter tires on wheels so I have to reprogram the main computer, each seasonal swap, with the different hex numbers.
Also I believe the batteries are not replaceable so you have to buy the whole unit.

Default low tire sensors

They are expensive and it was a sensor. I just put a little black tape over the display saying low pressure.
