Smart key/wireless entry key issue
Perhaps someone can help me. I have been recently experiencing an issue with the locks on my car. First it would randomly open and close the driver side lock. I have changed a battery in the remote thinking that was the root of the problem, as the passenger side and rear doors would open except the driver's side door. Then it went from randomly opening it to not opening the driver's side door at all which resulted in having to manually open the driver's side door. This morning arrived at work and literally had to manually lock all the doors. I have replaced the battery in the remote again, no change.

This a general panacea to try to reset whatever computer module is going nuts, but don't do this if you are not familiar with how to disconnect and reconnect a car battery without causing a hydrogen sulfide explosion and losing both your eyeballs.
Disconnect car batt power. Turn on lights momentarily to drain residual power. Re-connect and see if condition persists. Upon re-connect some cars assume a theft attempt, starts alarm blaring, and you need to place the physical key shank into the driver's lock cylinder and turn to disarm.
If this doesn't help, you get to locate the services of someone who really knows how to fix your particular car for erratic lock control.
I don't know if reprogramming the smartkeys would help, but that's the next thing I would try - only because I already bought the hardware cable and pirated software to do so for the extra keys I purchased.

Check the condition of your car battery. Weird electronic things occur when the car's battery starts dying. My father's rear trunk use to unlock unexpectedly because of that.
