Default Key FOB issues

So I am having some weird issues. Sometimes I grab my handle to unlock the doors and nothing. So I pull out he remote and press the unlock and nothing. Stand there a few seconds and touch the handle and it unlocks. Something happens if I want to lock the doors. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.

Sometimes I will be in the car for a few minutes and it will say key is not detected and then a few seconds its will go away.

I have tried new batteries and a different remote and they both randomly do the same thing.

Any idea?

I don't know, but, how about a system reboot? Disconnect your battery for a couple of minutes and let the electronics reboot.

If the battery in the remote has been replaced, check the car battery. As mentioned earlier, you can reset the system but I would just check the battery because if you have to change it, you're going to reset the system anyway.

It sounds to me like your actual car battery itself is running low. Get it checked out.
