I see from reading the Rx350 maintenance schedule there is a task to 'Reset Maintenance Reminder Light' Is this something a DIYr can do (simple to do on my 06 IS350) or is a PITA like on a German car..have to have a 'special tool'?

sjgIS350, do you have nav? There is a way to turn off the "Reset Maintenance Reminder Light." Unfortunately I'm not by the RX to tell you how. I had something like that come on last month. Once I got into the screen, I clicked on the little icons to make it go away. I think it was telling me I needed an oil change and tire rotation. And then there's the oil maintenance light (how to reset already posted) that'll come on every 5K miles. Fortunately no special tools are required.
