Just picked up a new RX 450h with Parchment interior. It has the carpeted cargo mat accessory, but the color of the mat doesn't quite match the Parchment interior; the mat's color seems more like a beige than parchment.

Should the color match the interior exactly? I wonder if I was given the wrong color mat or whether the colors just don't match well.

 

Consider it an "accent color" as they will not match!

and the carpeted cargo mat isn't a 100% match either.

 

I had a 2010 450h with parchment and the cargo mat was the same color as the flooring in the cargo area which was only "close" to the color of the parchment leather seats. That cargo mat was also of a heavier material than that which is used on the cargo mat in my 2013. Guess they were trying to save weight!

 

I think that must be the case. The cargo mat is certainly lighter weight than I expected.

 

I have the same interior with the cargo mat accessory and my mat has a little more gold in it than the carpeted area.

 

just bought a 2014 450 with parchment interior. what color was the seat carpeted floor mats when you got it? only choices now for seat mats are black or dark brown. for cargo it is black, gray or ivory.

 

The cargo mat can be flipped and the rubberized bottom can become the top. Very convenient when you are transporting things that are not dry or can potentially harm the carpeted side.

The loaner vehicles from the deale have all of the mats flipped like this. Good idea, but I had all weathers in my truck and when those went I got all weathers, and did the same for the rc when we purchased (since it only had the cargo mat)
