My 2006 LS 430 has what I think is a cashmere color interior (sort of yellowy beige color) The trim code is LA07 assuming I am reading the correct part of the code sticker.
My dealer recently got me a new set of mats which I think are the wrong color. They are almost gray in color and the Part # is PT548-50030-14. He is insisting these are the correct ones and that they should be a different color as a contrast.
Can anyone else advise on this before I go and start arguing with them.

The darker mats are the correct mats. Lexus finally realized that light colored mats stain too easily and they opted to put in darker mats in all lighter colored interiors.

Hi Anniversar -
They gave you Taupe which may or may not be the correct oem color. Cashmere is part PT548-50040-10. Here4's a link to the parts chart:

The actual interior color on the 2006 was Ecru because I had one and went through the same thing as you. The Taupe are correct and the Cashmere will look funny because it does not match the Ecru. I finally got an 04 color I think which was closer than the cashmere but not the same as Ecru and they looked fine if you want the lighter color. Watch out when it rains as they get real dirty real fast. Originally Posted by mewhee

FYI see this thread for more info

In my old '01 LS430 UL, i also had the Ecru interior. The mats that came in that car matched perfectly with the floor carpet. In the photo, you can barely tell the mats are installed. Sorry for the pic, and angle... couldn't find any other ones that showed the floor

Here's an image I put together a few months back. I did however miss, the Taupe color accompanied with the Ivory. Ivory equals Taupe in this case.

I am not sure, your leather in the photograph looks lighter than mine. What is the trim code from the trim pillar. Mine is LA07. The leather on mine is more of a light mustard color whereas yours looks whiter. It could be the lighting however in the photograph that is fooling meOriginally Posted by DDLexus
Does you car look like this?
I am not sure if my interior is Cashmere or Ecru. Does anyone have the trim codes for these two interior colors?
My 05 has the tan interior and has the darker floor mats as well. I agree, the lighting makes the shot a little washed out so it's hard to tell, however on your passenger side, it clearly matches the carpet.
I have the ecru interior with ecru mats. They are very light...any shoe will leave a footprint on it. I replaced the mats with the rubber lexus ones (dark brown) with the grooves for catching snow/water/pebbles. These mats are fantastic and fit perfectly, but unfortunately, Lexus no longer sells them.

Black (Trim 21,24,25)
Ivory (Taupe, Trim 07)
Cashmere (Trim 00,08)
Ash (shown as Charcoal, gray, Trim 1#)
Black (Ultra Luxury Model, Trim 21,24,25)
Taupe (Ultra Luxury Model Trim 07)
Bordeaux (Trim 24)
This is what I just updated to the website - all as my best interpretation of the color codes.

So based on this my interior color is Ivory (Taupe) as my trim code is 07 on my B pillar which means the mats I was given from the Lexus dealer are correct. The puzzler for me is that the mats are very much darker than the car carpet.Originally Posted by Sewell

Yes, I believe the floor mats you received are correct. Try not to compare the floor mats to the floor carpet but rather the darker colors in the dash and door panels. Remember, your interior has a two-toned color scheme. The color of the carpet is the color to accentuate this color scheme.
...the same holds true on many Lexus models, like the early LS, the ES, GS and RX models. All had two-toned ivory color schemes.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
