I have a 2013 RX350. Use the iphone 4 with the enform app. I was told by the sales person, that I need to launch the app, click on manage my accounts, so the app signs in to Pandora, open table, etc in which you have a active account. Once that is done, the app should connect to the Enform suite automatically when to enter and the bluetooth connection is stablished in the car. However , I have noticed that after a few days , when I attempt to connect to Enform, I get the message that i need to have the app running on the phone, despite the fact that the app was never closed.
Has anybody else noticed the same issue ?

 

Yes, sometimes the apps hangs. If you close Enform, then restart it, everything is usually fine again.

 

What do you use it for?

 

I use the Bing to find businesses that aren't in the Nav system. I also use Pandora to listen to music.

There are other apps, but those are the ones I use.

Hit the volume button repeatedly until the unit reboots. Swearing seems to speed up this process.
Stop by your dealer to get the latest firmware. I had this done recently.
I got fed up with Enform early on, so I don't use it much, hence can't tell you if it is any better now.

 

I looked at the apps and did not see anything worth using. Never used enform on my last two vehicles, in fact my RX F-Sport is not even registered with Enform.

 

Downloaded the app, then uninstalled it right away. Sending destination to navigation from cell phone seemed promising but couldn't figure it out. Oh well.
