I am curious to know if anyone is having maintenance performed by other than a Toyota / Lexus dealership. I have a long distance to drive to the Lexus dealership and needless to say the service costs are very expensive. I would welcome any feedback. Thanks. Ed near Boston.

 

For the normal 5 and 10 k maintenance, I use the Toyota store. A fraction of the price and usually easier to just get in and out. The h doesn't need that much maintenance.

 

I am assuming the 450h is not different than the 350. The oil gets changed every 10,000 miles. The brake fluid gets changed every 30,000 miles and the anti-freeze gets changed at 100,000. I get my Mobil1 0-20 at Walmart. Comes in five quart jugs and is on sale right now for $23 for the jug. I get my filters from Sewells for $5.41 and take them either to the dealer or local Toyota/Lexus repair shop where they charge about $25 for the labor. Tires rotated every 5,000 miles.
