The annoying droning engine sound
I have a 2012 rx350 with a drone noise at 2000 rpm.
Before that I had a 2005 rx350 and a2004 Siena all with the same noise. Toyota just could care less
I won't buy another Toyota product

I have a 2012 rx350 with the droning noise at 2000 rpm. the noise is coming through the firewall. I found I can reduce the noise by about 80% if I temporarily stuff a blanket or whatever up under and in back of dash on the passenger side. Will work on a better fix now that I know where it's coming from.
Can hear the engine and sounds like a diesel chug in idle and while driving at low speed
IT has 142000 km on it and no issues with performance. Anyone have experience with this

Picked up a 2010 RX 350, initially didn't notice anything, but after a couple days of driving I noticed the droning sound. I decided to start with one damper and see how that goes, I installed it between the hanger and the resonator. I'm questioning if it did much and with more drives I'm convinced it has helped, though the drone is still there. I'm tempted to order another one.
Anyone here install one damper only and are happy with the results ?
