I am wondering when I hide my on screen soft zoom buton (+ and -) on the left and right I lost the ability to zoom from the center controller button. Is this normal? or does anyone know away around it? Currently I have enabled the soft zoom to stay on screen whether the "on" or "off" for additional functions is clicked. But it seems to me like wasted real-estate.
Once you hide the row of buttons on the bottom of the screen, you should still be able to zoom using the remote touch controller by pressing the arrow buttons in between the Menu button and Map button

Really? Because when I hide the zoom buttons from the screen so only the "on" button is on the screen. I can't zoom in or out anymore with the button between the Map and Menu. I have a 2010? Do you have the same model year? And somebody confirm if they still have zoom with out the on screen zoom buttons?

Same here with a 2013 (with the latest gen Nav). Would love to be able to zoom by pressing the physical button without having to expand and make visible the on-screen buttons - kind of defeats the purpose.
Btw, what other purpose does the physical button have?
