Default Trouble with my audio

I just bought a 2013 RX350 about 10 days ago. From time to time, I have trouble with the BT connection. Here's what happens...it connects fine when I start the car. When I try to play music through it, sometimes it will play from my phone instead of the car. What's up with that?

You also have to connect it as a portable player

If you have the NAV system, try connecting through the USB. You'll have much more control with your music and it will keep your iPod charged that way too.

I thought it automatically connected as a portable player. I'm confused.

Yes, it is. You should also be able to play your music wirelessly unless you want additional functionality in which case you should connect via USB.

as a phone connection yes but not as a audio player connection, as said, you need to touch your iPhone screen twice and wait for "active connection" and after that, listening music with BT is impressive (excellent sound).

Once I connected the bluetooth audio player (on both of my cars), it automatically connects and starts playing whenever I start the car or select bluetooth. If you have multiple phones and/or players connected via BT, it can get confused, and you might have to occasionally reconnect the one you want. But not often. They say that music over a BT connection doesn't sound as good as a USB connection, and you do have more control of your music with USB. But BT is a LOT more convenient, and still sounds fine .... to my old and rock and roll damaged ears. I do like the USB display, though. I'm thinking I might just get an iPod for both cars, and use USB.
