Tint for rear windows

Tint for rear windows
I was wondering if someone can help me.
I would like to tint added to the rear windows over the factory tint. I was thinking 50%, which would cut the factory tint darker by half. But then thinking 35% for more privacy because sometimes I put my bicycle in the back.
The problem is I am hoping it would not be too dark at night, like if I shoulder check the rear window for lane changes at night or backing up. I'm sure someone will say they put 5% everywhere and see just fine, lol. OK lets keep discussion for the rear windows and not matching the front.

The shop I went to gave me 15% in the fronts to match the rears with prestige ceramic tint, looking at the car from outside it was 100% match, but it was significantly darker than the rears when your inside the car looking out. This made it very very very hard to see at night as the side mirrors are dimmed at night. I told them to go lighter than darker if they were in-between shades but I guess the one that looked the best from the outside was 15%.
definitely cant see well at night. But eh live and learn. They also gave me a vizor strip for free that was ~6 inches haha, i thought it was ridiculous but its actually very helpful as I dont ever have to use the sun vizor anymore. Total cost was 150.

I have no issues w/ my front door tint which I asked the shop to match the oem tint as well as add 5% to the hatch tint as well as a 5% tint band to the front windshield 6'' down....
