HUD on the 2013 RX450h

The Lexus website only allows one to "build" the pre-selected packages chosen for your area by Lexus marketing. You need to work with your dealer for a custom build and order.
You can use a 3rd party site such as kbb.com or truecar.com to play with the options in advance.

when you build, you put in your zip code so what you see is what the "usual" configurations of RX that come to your area. Of course, the car can be built (pretty much) anyway you want if you are willing to special order and wait three months.
Or you can find a dealer that is willing to trade with another dealer, if chance it and go to your dealer and see what they have.

erumsas, my 2013 Rx450h AWD has HUD. I only wish they would put more info up there. Currently HUD only shows 2 things all the time: gear selected and speed. It will briefly display the radio station when you change it. If you have an active NAV destination it will show upcoming turns when you get about 0.5 miles from it. That's all it shows. I would also like to see song title, artist, fuel consumption/MPG, and other stuff - make it configurable!

More and more dealers are putting their new car inventory with MSRP and included options on their websites, such as Sewell Lexus. Even the small dealer in Oklahoma City does it. I was looking for HUD also, and was one of the reasons I drove to Sewell Lexus in Dallas last week, and ended up buying my 2013 RX450h awd. As everyone is saying, each market is a little different. The Kansas City dealer had a Deep Sea Mica 450h awd I would have liked, but no HUD, even though it had LED headlights.
