I just ordered a 2012 RX 450H. Looking at the option packages on the Lexus website I found Ultra Premium Package C, which I ordered. a 3 month wait. I just looked yesterday and it seems this package is no longer available. I was able to find a Premium Package C, which doesn't have everything I want and a Premium Package D, which I guess is replacing the Ultra Package. I also saw a picture, somewhere, of a 2012 450h that had aluminum trim underneath on the front and back, but I don't see this listed anywhere as an option or accessory. I called a rep on the Lexus website and he said he didn't know about the different Packages. Strange. You'd think a Lexus rep would know things like that. Trying to order a 2012 450h that has EVERY option. Can anybody help me out with this? One last thing. I saw that body side molding is an accessory, which the salesman at the dealer said wasn't available. anybody got a photo of this. Sorry for the multiple questions in my post. Lexus is not making it easy for me to spend my money with them. TIA

Sorry I am not very familiar with Canadian packages for Lexus.

But my guess is that when you ordered your vehicle, the website was not listed for the 2012 model and still displayed 2011? I am sure they will switch over and still you will get everything you ordered.

The aluminum trim underneath the front was a special edition called the lifestyle package. I am not sure if it is available in canada, it is not available in the US.



also the body side molding is an option accessory in the US for $199

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I'm in US. If I'm having the car built, couldn't they add the lifestyle package to it? Another question for me to ask the dealer. Thanks so much, for your informative reply. Like those molding pics too.

Oh I was confused because of the names of the packages you mentioned, such as ultra premium C and D, which is usually used in Canada. I now realize and assume you are looking at the "build it" function of the website? instead, you should just look at the pricing and options page to see what you ordered since you special ordered anyways. The build it page lists options that are available in your area without a special order.

if you want everything in your car, you will most likely have ordered the luxury package. and no, lifestyle is not available in the US. You can probably order the parts from Europe/Australia but I am not sure if it is worth it. The cost would be quite high

When I ordered my 2012 450h, about 3 weeks ago, there was an option package" C," for a little over $13,000, which I ordered, on the Lexus website. I had to put in about 10 different zip codes before I found it. It is no longer shown. Maybe it was a 2011 thing. It did NOT include Lazer Cruise Control, which I had to order additionally. I'm also getting a 120,000 mile ext. warranty and " Enform with Safety Connect Additional 4 years". Don't think there is anything else I can cram into it. Thx for your help.

since you special ordered and are willing to make the 3 month wait, you dont even need to go through the hassle of finding of entering zip codes and finding a configuration. Its a simple you tell them what you want and dont want and they will build it.

for instance, I special ordered as well. I think I am one of the few, if not the only one, who has every option including LED headlights, luxury package, and laser cruise control but not mark levinson because I didnt want it.
