Can't scroll through songs when car is moving?
I am slowly figuring out things with my new-to-me 2010 Lexus.
I was struggling to understand how to scroll through music stored on the USB.
I still think its not intuitive the way you scroll through the folders but he real problem is it won let you scroll through folders or songs when the car is physically moving.
Really? Is there no way to have this reprogrammed or is there a work around? Seems very silly to me.

Agreed but it's odd what the system will let me while the car is moving versus what it won't.
I can't program a destination into the GPS, neither can a passenger. But no such issues with a $129 Garmin.

If you spend a few minutes on this web page. You will find all the answers you need to make your systems work. Or find information about work arounds.
The manual program is considered intensive enough they block it when the car is moving. But you can program with voice while the car is moving. The odd feature on my 2010 is the voice command for entering destination only works while the car is moving.
I'm less concerned with not being able to directly acess the GPS while moving, or at least its hasn't annoyed me yet. But I can somewhat understand why it won't let you enter addresses for distraction reasons especially if you can still use voice.
But the USB music access I still don't understand. Basically if I'm on a long trip on the highway I effectively can't listen to music on my USB drive, or at least not more than one folder. My new BMW, without nav and therfore a much more distracting interface, does not subject me to such ridiculous restrictions.
