Question nAVIGATION SYSTEM

dOES ANYONE KNOW OF A WAY TO DISABLE THE NAV LOCKOUT THAT PREVENTS PROGRAMMING a destination WHILE IN MOTION?
I UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC OF THE SAFETY ASPECT (NOT PROGRAMMING WHILE DRIVING), however, there is no reason the passenger could not enter a new destination safely while thevehicle is in motion. Thanks

I agree with you!
They push a little bit to far with those safety feature, while driving:
-Nav system almost "locked"
-DVD not available in front

How to override those "safety setting ????

I would think that everytime you start your car and press "I agree" that should remove Lexus (or whomever) from any responsibilty of accidents resulting from Nav-abuse while driving - but there are other limitations. It'd be nice if the passenger could update while driver is driving... but how would the Nav know??

It could know by the fact that it can tell when someone is sitting in the passenger side.
