How old is the map data on the nav?
I plugged in an address today and the nav was unable to find it. The place of address was built about 3 years ago...I had to rely on Google maps to get there...Also the voice recognition sucks *****!
Ive been playing around with the voice recognition...seems like speaking a bit slower and more like a computer voice works out okay...I'm more pissed that I cant find addresses in that system. Guess I'll have to put a AUX cable in my car just in case! Do you know if I can tap into the car's speakers using USB rather than AUX?

Yeah, there's a highway interchange near me that doesn't even look all that new (existed before I moved here last summer) and the maps have no idea it's there. Due to that, many times it takes me a very out-of-the-way direction to get places. Quite annoying.
I can't believe they also have the nerve to charge us over $100 for "updated" maps, too. It is why phone navigation tends to be the best, constantly updated maps for free...I just wish there was a way to control them from the in-dash screen. Sooner or later manufacturers, you hope, will start offering Here Maps or Google Maps built-in, or at least some sort of phone mirroring display system

There is a ~$300 aftermarket thing you can install so that you can mirror and control your phone...I cant remember right now but it is in this forum though...
