Does anyone know of a good installer for 3M/Ventureshield clear bra in the northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. area?
We found these guys who install for dealers in Northern Virginia. We had them installed 3M for us with Full Hood, Fenders, Mirrors, Front Bumper, Headlights, Foglights, A-pillars, Roof Protection, and Rocker Panel Protection. Their website: http://www.pftfilms.com/

It's a little expensive but we are happy with it.
Good luck!
I used the same guys to do my Lexus a couple of days ago. I had everything you had done excepy the A-pilllars, Roof, and Rocker Panels. They swear by 3M as compared to VentureShield, although VentureShield is easier to apply. I watched them do it. Looks like hard, painstaking work! Happy with the results so far. They said if small bubbles appear under the film, the bubbles should go away in 1 to 4 weeks. If not. they will correct under warranty.
I am just wondering what this film will look like in 6 to 7 years, when I am readfy to sell/trade-in. If it is all beat up, I guess it can be removed with the paint underneath still looking good?
^^ VentureShield is a 3M product. Over on youtube.com you can see videos of old clear masks being removed if you want to see how they age and are removed. They can end up looking pretty bad, but the paint on the cars is in very nice condition. I'm hoping current products hold up better over time.
Lots of threads on clear bra's... I cannot locate any info on classic black leather-looking bra. Any preferred products? My front bumper paint is extremely chipped from 160k miles primarily highway. I'm considering covering it with black bra to preserve what is left of the paint for future resale. I do not want to pay $1000 for new bumper.

Here you go, I have used them a number of times on a number of vehicles. Very high quality. Just choose the vehicle on this page.
It solves a problem but creates one too. I put mine [another vehicle] away, after observing scuff mark on the paint. These scuff marks appeared after some dirt accumulated with use and when the bra got wet after rain.

I have had one of these since 1998 Olds Intrigue and have used them extensively on 6 vehicles since and I have never had any scuffing occur. In fact, I was doing so much highway driving in the early 2000s that I left the cover on all the time on my 2000 ES300.
