Electronic tailgate
i recently discovered that while the electronic rear tailgate on my 2010 rx350 opens via a push button on the dashboard next to the gas cap release, it apparently cant be electronically closed by that same switch from inside the car. You have to use the button on the actual tailgate to activate the electronic closure mechanism.
Could there be something wrong with the inside switch or is this really the way lexus designed this feature. My neighbor's Murauno not only closes the tailgare electronically from the driver's seat, but the rear seats are also elctronically lowered instead of having to use the hand lever like I have to in my Lexus.
Thanks for any feedback . Maybe a have a warranty problem with the switch?????.
