ECT to OD button swap
Anyone ever thought about switching the ECT and the OD buttons?
I'm thinking since I pop back and forth on the ECT all the time, Why not put it where I use it.
I never take the car out of OD...so put it where I don't need it. (where the ECT button is now)
Any thoughts.......

Who needs the ECT switch anyway? pull the connector off the switch and jump it out. Two of the wires are for the light in the switch and two are the ones to jump out.
Then you can use the ETC switch as a toy going down the road

and yes i have also noticed that my ect button gets knocked sometimes..
I had to jump mine out the other day when I was investigating my problem (see thread in engine forum). It is very simple and will eliminate the problem.
I put mine back after I found the issue, but it does work if you are tired of bumping the switch.
