Sevn, I think you will like this. I read in this or some other thread about a secret hidden storage and it is nice... I just threw the manuals there. When you lift your center console hand rest,, you can lift up the storage box and underneath it, you have more room plus area under the cup holders where you can happily store those manuals....Credit goes to kitlz or whoever mentioned this. I am sure there are folks who didn't realize this...
Thanks, I actually pulled the center console out on one of the 15 test drives I did before I bought the car. It's a very nice place to hide things. I can't believe it's so deep.

Well, then you got to tell us if you find any other's like that...
I just got the Wix bioshield 75 filter. I pulled out the original filter from the vehicle and saw that it is a Carbon impregnated filter. Probably that's what Sewell has for $43. After a little research, I see that carbon helps prevent odors, exhaust fumes, mold, moisture and allergens. I did see a bunch of leaves in. So I cleaned it pretty good and put it back for time being. I have about 1yr/9K miles. Just logged into mylexus and see that Filter is only cleaned at 15K/18mo and replaced at 30K/3yr. Any comments.
Just pulled it out and shaked it a bit and all the major leaves etc came off. Then I used a small vac on the side where these leaves etc enter the filter. I didn;t use a powerful vac since I wasn't sure if it will suck up the carbon...
I followed the instructions with no trouble except for a minor detail: The original 2010 Lexus Filter was marked with an "Arrow" and its label was "UP" (the arrow pointed toward the top of the housing originally). However, the Purolator C35667 cabin filter I used ( it fit fine) has a printed arrow and a label of "Air Flow" as its marking. Given that the debris on the old filter was on the top of the removed fileter (as it was pulled out) I assumed the Air Flow is from Top to Bottom - hence the new Filer would be installed with the Arrow DOWN, to match the airflow in the housing. Aside from being confusing, does anyone see a problem with this?

Reason: Spelling
"I assumed the Air Flow is from Top to Bottom - hence the new Filter would be installed with the Arrow DOWN, to match the airflow in the housing. Aside from being confusing, does anyone see a problem with this? "
Makes sense to me. I can't see why it would matter which way it draws the air across it anyway.Just so you always put it back in the same position.
Can anyone confirm there is no housing case for the cabin air filter for 2010/2011 RX350?
The owner manual states there is one, but I didn't see it when I checked my cabin filter yesterday.
I don't recall any mention of a "housing case" in the manual for my 2010 RX350, and all I had to do to replace the CAF was to remove the shelf, set the Recirculate/Fresh properly, and remove the filter's cover, which snaps in over the end of the filter "slot", then pull out the old, and put in the new.

My GS350 has a filter case and a filter.
I must have mis-read the RX350 manual. For the RX350, the filter case implies the filter itself.
Thanks.
Btw, the air flow direction is from top to bottom. So any filter with an arrow and Air Flow printed, the arrow should point down.
I added these items to my cart on the Sewell website to get the part numbers.
Thank u so much! Im using an iPad and Idk why but Sewell's website won't let me scroll down to see all the parts and filters. Maybe it's my iPad and it probably needs an update.

I believe that the Cabin Air Filters purchased from Sewell cost far too much even with the discount.
If I were you I would check out E-Bay. I have seen this filter priced as low as 6.50 each with shipping included.
