Default Been 3 weeks with new 2012

Overall I really like the 2012, however, there were a few things I liked much better about my 2004. On the 2012 the clock is not as visable, 2004 had it up higher just below navigation screen making it easier to see. 2012 heated seats don't heat nearly as well as the 2004 and the buttons were in a better place. 2012 has the SOS in the place where the sunglass holder was in the 2004. I don't plan on keeping the SOS service so this space will be wasted, would have preferred to have kept the sunglass holder.

I have the 2011 RX and had a 2005.... agree completely with all of the OP comments.

They should have mounted the Enform SOS button on the dash instead of eliminating the value added sunglass holder!

It was an afterthought! they didnt try to keep that under the raps at all. It was a 6 month after, afterthought.

I would have to say my 2011 heated seats come on much faster and heat more of the chair than my 2004 so I am surprised about your experiences. Otherwise I agree with mostly everything.

The emergency flasher button should have been moved elsewhere, and an analog clock should have been placed between the two vents. Either that, or Lexus nav should have the info bar on the top of the screen similar to when you touch volume controls, that always shows the clock in the corner

@RXSF......totally agree with you on the Enform SOS and clock location!! Hopefully Lexus visits this forum and sees their design flaw.

Aside from the added value of the hybrid you are also fortunate to have that one additional item that should increase your trade in value over the rest of us that just have a button!!

analog ones look a little more fancy to me. That is why all luxury makes have them now...except for Lexus. But that changes starting with the 2013 GS

Funny, but that looks out of place to me. They could have made it more jewel like or just had the analog.

There's that interior again that doesn't match the exterior.

I do prefer the analog clock, they do look classier. Make or break the sale, I don't think so. I have no use for the sunglass holder. My thoughts.
