My wife wants an RX 350 and we're trying to decide on the best value for the money.I'd appreciate any feedback.

2009 - $26000-$29000 with ~ 30000 miles AWD
2010 - $33000-$36000 with ~ 15000 miles AWD
2011 - $39000-$43000 with <100 miles AWD

The max numbers are for loaded cars with options (navi, 19in wheels.......)

Hope it help.

Run some different year models through the following calculator to see costs:

I would suggest at least a 2010 (3rd Gen). It has a much better Nav and body style.

Just my .02 ;-)

Definitely go with the 10 or 11 because of the new frame and larger size, plus the upgrades. If you can wait until the 12's are out, maybe Lexus will do the 2k incentive to dealers again on the new 11 models. You can get an excellent deal then.

Price increase coming for 2011 models:

"2011 Lexus: Price increases range from $600 for the GX 460 SUV to $900 for the IS F performance sedan, all of the LS flagship sedans, the GS 450h hybrid sedan and LX 570 SUV. By percentage the increases range from 0.8% to 2.1%.

The best-selling Lexus models -- the RX crossover utilities -- go up $700 for the RX 350 and $800 for the RX 450h hybrid. The new Lexus prices are effective for Japanese-made vehicles with scheduled May arrivals. The one exception is North American-built RX units, for which the price change takes effect with May production."

Can't agree more. In addition, I have seen many people regret later after buying previous generation. If you need it now, get 2010. If you can wait, get 2011 at the right time.
