Default 2011 (Private) vs. 2010 CPO

Hello, a newbie looking for your expertise, here.

Been searching for a RX350, and these 2 are my options now.

- Both are very similarly loaded with navi, leather, etc - slightly more on 2011

1. 2011 AWD cashmere/parchment at 18K miles

2. 2010 FWD mica/black at 40K miles - CPO

I definitely like the color combo of 2010...

Which one would you recommend??
Thanks.

It seems an easy pick for me. 2011 +1

Thanks.

Considering it's a Lexus, 3 year warranty of CPO may not be a must but can give me some peace of mind...
Also, the Cashmere color makes me hesitate on the decision.
Anyone like this color??

i love the #2 color combo, but id personally go with #1, low mileage and a newer car is always better, plus AWD is good if you live in the areas of good winter weather, cashmere color is kind of odd, i like black, pear white and like dark cherry colored cars, but its not the color youre driving its a car, as long as you like it, color shouldnt be your #1 priority or concern

I'd go with option #1. IMHO, newer car and AWD > CPO.

My personal preference is black interior. Cashmere needs more maintenance. I hear color transfer from jeans is common.

I personally like the Cashmere color. Was drooling over a Cashmere 2013 450h in a local dealer's lot last weekend...

But I would highly recommend that since the 2011 is from a private party that you check service records & make sure that it hasn't been in an accident.

In terms of value for the dollar, option 1 is better. But, get the one you want, which is often dictated by the color you like the most. I've kicked myself before after getting a car that was not the color I wanted, just because it was a bit less expensive. I spent the next several months thinking that I settled. Don't loke that feeling.

That's what I was afraid of.
At least, I think I am getting warmed up on the color after seeing it one more time...

Thanks for all the feedbacks!

Speaking from experience, I would not recommend the CPO. Its just another way to get you to pay more. If you really want the warranty and the peace of mind then buy the car without CPO and buy extended warranty later. Not only its cheaper but also its transferable. CPO is NOT! I was offered CPO for my 2010 RX for over $2000 and I waited and got the extended warranty for $1500. and it covers exactly the same stuff as the CPO and if you decide to sell it later the new owner will take over the warranty. Making your car more valuable and easier to sell in the future.
