Default Question?

I'm looking to buy a 11-10 RX350 AWD. I would like to know if the 10 RX has Audio Bluetooth. I know the 11 does. Thanks and if so how is the sound quality when using your iPhone?

I have a 10 and it has Bluetooth. I also have the iphone and the audio quality is great. May need an update on the software as I have to chose my songs from the iphone with the phone. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response. Which sound system do you have the 9 or 12 speaker? How does the bass sound. Sorry for asking another question I'm just comparing the rx to the q5 in every aspect. Thanks...

My '10 RX 350 with premium sound (not ML) works fine with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Sound is indistinguishable from iPod via USB. (I think because the link is digital.)

Two disadvantages, but these are not great problems for me:
1) No song info on car's display, but I know my music and can live without display.
2) It has to be controlled by the iPhone. But voice control of iPhone is pretty good. I tell the iPhone, "Play songs by Dionne Warwick" and off we go.

bluetooth audio like the others have said is controlled by the iphone. However, you can easily plug in your iphone and control it on the screen using the USB jack. Sound quality is better with the USB jack than on the bluetooth.

I would not go with the 9 speaker system. The 12 sounds great and is perfectly adequate for non audiophiles. The 9 does not come with a sub...
The price for 12 speaker versus 9 is something like 200 dollars, which is a good deal

Is the limitation only applicable to 2010? Mine is 2011, and I control it from steering wheel - which is easily my favorite. It also automatically starts playing (even when my iphone is in sleep mode) when I start the car. I never use USB because I don't feel any difference in sound quality. The advantage is huge because you don't have to bring out your iPhone at all just like keyless entry. If this can be achieved by software update, I strongly recommend it.

i have IP4 and using BT in my RX 2010 just fine, sounds awesome. Controling by the wheel. Make sure you have to update the Iphone to firmware 4.1 +. Older firmware don't support BT controling.
