Strange Traction Control Occurrence
My LS460 is in the shop for the valve spring recall. When I dropped off the car they gave me a 2011 RX350. That evening I went out to dinner with my wife, daughter, mother in law, and father in law. While heading to dinner we had to stop hard at a red light. The strange thing is when the RX came to a complete stop the traction control light came on for about 10 seconds. During this time when I took my foot off of the brake the car wouldnt move. I dont know why it did that. Anyone here with a 2010 or 2011 notice something like this???

that would be the hill start assist.
Come to a complete stop (works at all stops, not just a hill), depress the brake pedal further, and you will hear an audible beep and a blinking traction control light. Goes away when you touch the gas pedal or release the brake pedal for a significant amount of time.
the first time I did it on a loaner (before I realized what I had done and before I bought the car), I thought something was wrong with the car and actually turned off the car at a stop light and restarted. haha

Hah! That just happened to me yesterday, IN MY GARAGE! I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so restarted the car.
